Working with our client, who are one of the world’s leading manufacturers of plastic products for the construction industry, we have an opportunity for an Internal Sales Advisor. The company is fast growing in the UK and has a real culture of teamwork & constant improvement, and this is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join a highly successful team.

Job Description

Duties include:

  • Proactive calling & lead generation
  • Identify & develop future potential business
  • Building on relationships with new and existing customers
  • Respond to incoming sales & technical enquiries, working with our customers to identify the best solution for their application
  • Prepare quotations and follow up, recording findings accurately on CRM database
  • Book appointments for Key Account Managers
  • Provide a high level of customer service
  • Liaise with warehouse, transport & accounts teams to ensure order delivery
  • Order administration as and when required
  • May be required to attend client visits from time to time

The Person

As a key member of our sales team you should be a real people person, who can confidently build relationships over the phone. 

  • An excellent telephone manner is essential, as well as being a good listener.
  • You must have high levels of accuracy and attention to detail, with strong organisational skills and the ability to multi-task, you will need to organise your work and manage your own time effectively.
  • You should be enthusiastic with a ‘can-do’ attitude, and a team player.
  • This is a technical sales role, so experience within the drainage / construction industry would be advantageous, though not essential, as training will be provided for the right candidate.
