The role of a recruitment consultant is primarily placing the right professional into the right job, winning new business, and ensuring long-term working relationships with existing clients and candidates.

Duties will include:

  • interviewing and assessing prospective applicants and matching them with vacancies at client companies
  • screening candidates and drawing up shortlists of candidates for clients to interview
  • organising interviews and selection events
  • making arrangements and writing vacancies for various platforms
  • helping applicants to prepare for interviews
  • building relationships with clients, identifying new opportunities
  • updating CRM systems and compliance administration
