The role of a recruitment consultant is primarily placing the right professional into the right job, winning new business, and ensuring long-term working relationships with existing clients and candidates.
Duties will include:
- interviewing and assessing prospective applicants and matching them with vacancies at client companies
- screening candidates and drawing up shortlists of candidates for clients to interview
- organising interviews and selection events
- making arrangements and writing vacancies for various platforms
- helping applicants to prepare for interviews
- building relationships with clients, identifying new opportunities
- updating CRM systems and compliance administration
