We have a very exciting opportunity for someone who is looking for a career in recruitment. Our client, based in Edinburgh has an opportunity for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join their team.
This role may suit a Graduate, someone working in a sales role but looking for a move into recruitment or even someone who is working as a Recruitment Resourcer but would love the chance to progress into a Consultant role.
Working as a Recruitment Consultant you must be confident and resilient and will enjoy speaking to people both face to face and over the phone. You will be supported and trained by a Director who has years of experience in Construction Recruitment and who is passionate about bringing the next generation of recruiters into the recruitment sector.
The role itself is busy and varied and will involve:
- Working on job vacancies and sourcing suitable candidates for the positions through various methods including job boards and CV searching
- Screening applicants over the phone and in person or via Teams
- Building good working relationships with clients
- Liaising with clients and sending suitable candidates over for their vacancies
- Arranging interviews with both clients and candidates
- Generating new sales leads to be followed up
- Continually updating your sector knowledge so that you become an expert in your recruitment sector
